Founded in 1890 as the Texas State Bottlers Association, and renamed the Texas Beverage Association in 2006 (TBA), TBA represents beverage producers, distributors, franchise companies and support industries. Members market hundreds of brands, flavors and packages, including regular and diet soft drinks, ready-to-drink teas and coffees, bottled waters and water beverages, sports drinks, 100 percent juice and juice drinks, and energy drinks.
The association serves as a liaison between the industry, government and the public, and provides a unified voice in legislative and regulatory matters in Texas.
Texas Beverage Association’s members manufacture and distribute more than 90% of all non-alcoholic beverage products in Texas. The refreshment beverage industry is a large contributor to the Texas economy, buying products and services from many industries, creating thousands of jobs and contributing to worthwhile causes in local communities.
